Lesson 35 Future Transportation

掌握以下重点句子：
①I hope someone will invent one in the future.
②A transporter would send you from one place to another very, very quickly.
③A transporter would allow you to travel at the speed of light.
④In these shows, people use new forms of transportation all the time.
Step 1 Lead－in
Show the pictures to the students. Let them guess：
1.What is the boy riding in Picture 1？
2.What is the name of the train in Picture 2？
Let the students answer the questions in class.
Step 2 Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the correct words you hear：
1.Sam hopes someone will ________a hoverboard in the future.
2.A transporter can go very________.
3.Sam likes to watch the shows about the________.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 3 Reading
Read the passage and decide if the following statements are true or false.
1.A hoveroard would be like an airplane.
2.A transporter can travel at the speed of light.
3.In everyday life, people can use new forms of transportation all the time.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 4 Practice
Work in groups. Practice the text. Then present it in front of the class. When the students act, they can use their own words.
Read the text again and find more questions about this text.

Step 5 Activities
Suppose you want to write a short passage about future transportation. You don’t know what to say. How can you do？Ask your classmates for advice.
Finish the task in groups. Then after a few minutes, let some students read their passage in front of the class.

Match the words with the correct descriptions in Exercise 1.Read the passage and finish off Exercise 2.
Work in groups, talk about the inventions you know.
