    Pay attentin t the structure f the letter.
    1. I am very busy n Friday. busy是形容词,常与be动词连用,表示主语的状态。 be busy with sth. / be busy ding sth. 忙于做某事 e.g. I’m busy with my hmewrk = I’m busy ding my hmewrk 我在忙着做家庭作业。
    He ________________ a letter. 他在忙着写信。busy的反义词为free,意为“空闲的”。

    e.g. — Are yu _____ this Friday? 这个周五你有空吗? — Yes, I am. 是的,我有。
    be free t d sth. 有时间做某事
    [拓展] free还可意为“免费的”。e.g. The fruit is fr free here tday. 今天这里的水果是免费的。
    2. The teacher says it is useful,… useful是形容词,是由“名词use (使用) +后缀ful”构成,意为“有用的”。类似结构还有: help + ful → helpful 有帮助的 clr + ful → clrful 绚丽多彩的
    [注意] useful是虽以元音字母“u”开头,但其发音为辅音/ju:/,故其前用冠词a,而不用an。e.g. It is _________ bk. 这是一本有用的书。
    3. It is difficult but interesting… interesting / funny interesting adj. 有意思的;有吸引力的 (指引起理性的或智慧的兴趣) funny adj. 逗乐的;有趣的;使人快乐的 (强调“滑稽可笑的)
    e.g. English is interesting. 英语很有趣。 I find this bk interesting. 我发现这本书很有意思。 This is a funny mvie. 这是一部搞笑的影片。
    interesting与interested1) interesting可作表语,指某人/事/物本身有趣;也可作定语修饰人或物 e.g. The bk is interesting. 这书很有趣。 (作表语) I have an interesting bk. 我有本有趣的书。(作定语)
    2) interested用于be/get/becme interested in…(对……感兴趣)这一结构中。 e.g. He is interested in playing ftball. 他对踢足球感兴趣。
    4. Lunch is frm 12:00 t 1:00, and after that we have Chinese. 介词短语frm … t …意为“从……到……”,用来表述时间、地点等范围。 e.g. We g t schl ______________________. 我们星期一到星期五上学。 It’s far ________________________. 北京到上海很远。

    after that意为“在那之后;然后”,相当于then。其中after为介词,意为“在……之后”; that是代词,指代前面lunch。e.g. He has an egg and sme bread fr breakfast. After that he ges t schl. 他早餐吃了一个鸡蛋和一些面包。然 后就上学去了。
    5. My classes finish at 1:50, but after that I have an art lessn fr tw hurs.
    finish作动词,意为“结束”,常用于finish ding sth. 意为做完某事。e.g. The English Party finishes at 6:00 p.m. 英语聚会下午六点结束。 I ___________ my hmewrk at 9:00. 我九点完成我的作业。

    句中at表示“在……时刻”,常用在具体钟点前。e.g. His birthday party is at 7:30 p.m. 他的生日聚会是在下午七点半。
    lessn用作名词,意为“课;课程”。常用短语:have lessns 上课 d ne’s lessns 做功课 Lessn One = the first lessn 第一课
    class 和 lessn当表示“学校的课”时,class和lessn区别不大,美式英语中常用class, 英式英语中常用lessn。例如:Classes start at 9 ’clck.(学校)九点开始上课。(英式英语:Lessns start at 9 ’clck.)
    当表示“某种技能。技巧性的课程”时,常用lessn, 较少用class。例如:pian lessns 钢琴课 driving lessns 驾驶课当表示“教材中的教学单元;课”时,常用lessn。class则还有“班;班级”的含义。如:Nw, ______, please pen yur bks t _________. 同学们,现在请打开书,翻到第9课。
    an art lessn fr tw hurs 表示“一节两小时的美术课”, 此句中的介词fr表示 “持续某段时间”。e.g. Jack usually plays sccer fr an hur after schl. 放学后杰克一般踢一个小时的足球。
    at 8:00 在八点 have math 上数学课It’s difficult but interesting.它难但是有趣。 after that 在那之后 frm 12:00 t 1:00 从十二点到一点have an art lessn fr tw hurs上一节两个小时的美术课
