    Step1: Review
    Review
    In Junir high schl, we have studied the five basic sentence patterns f simple sentences. G ver what S, V, P, O (IO, DO, OC) stand fr.
    Self-study
    Ask the students t read the cntent n Page 96-97, find ut the pssible questins.
    The teacher writes dwn the students’ answers n the blackbard, then divide the students int several grups in 4. Have a discussin and try t slve the prblems.
    At the same time, the teacher walks thrugh the students and help them.

    Review the five basic sentence structures;
    Read part A n page 6, and ask sme students t the blackbard t write dwn the answers.

    Slve the prblems that the students may meet in Step 1.
    In rder t help them understand well, the teacher can explain SVA, SVOA by presenting a grup f sentences.
    Finish the exercises n B2 n page 7.

    Step5 Writing the sentences
    Ask the students the fllwing questins and then write sme sentences using different sentence structures.

    Present sme students’ exercise bks n the screen and judge them with the students.
    Step6 Summary
    Tday we have learned what the sentence elements are and the rules f sentences. After the class the students shuld try t finish the exercises n page58 C.
