Many of our habits have changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nowadays, we usually wear facial masks in public places to protect ourselves from viruses. In addition, many people don’t go to crowded places any more, for it’s better to be safe than sorry. Different from before, we exercise a lot more now, hoping to build up our health. Another big change is in our dining habits. We wash our hands as much as possible before and after dinner and try to use serving chopsticks when taking food from plates, which greatly reduces the risk of spreading the virus.

In my opinion, these changes are good and necessary, because they can best protect us and help us finally defeat the pandemic.

    The activity was held at 2:30 pm on May 16 on the playground. In the beginning, the headmaster made a speech at the opening ceremony, inspiring us students to learn more about Chinese culture. After that, there was an exciting competition about opera knowledge. In the end, we enjoyed wonderful opera performances put on by some teachers and students who are talented in opera.
