Step 1: Warming up
Game:The teacher ask students to work in groups of three,one pretend to be the peacemaker and the other two pretend to be two friends who have a dispute,come to the front and show their performance to the class.
设计意图:以游戏的形式开始新课,吸引学生的注意力。
Step 2:Presentation
1.学生自学课文。要求画出不理解的词语或句子。学生提出来不懂的地方,老师加以解答。
设计意图:引导学生学会自主预习。
2.听课文录音,了解大意。
设计意图:锻炼学生的听力能力。
3.学生分组分角色读课文。其他同学认真听并挑出其中的错误。
4.讲解本课的语言点和重点短语以及重点句子:
(1)Would either of you like a cookie?你们想要一个饼干吗?

(2)短语:agree on对……取得一致意见
keep silent 保持安静
mean to 打算
after all 毕竟
(3)句子:I’m glad you agreed to come to my house.
I didn’t mean to do it.

设计意图:明确学习目标,便于学生掌握重点短语及句子。
Step 3:Drill
Do Exercise 1 and Exercise 2 on Page 107.
设计意图:锻炼学生的听说能力和加强学生对课文内容的理解。
