Step 1：Warming up

T：After you argue with your friends，what do you usually do?

Ss：I usually feel regret and say sorry to it.

T：Have you ever gotten back in touch with an old friend?

Ss：Yes，I have.

T：Then，it feels good，right？OK，let’s start today’s topic.



二、展开过程，探究新知

Step 2：Presentation

1.Teacher shows the words with a big screen：moment，hardly，familiar，disappointed，ask the students to guess the meaning of these words，if they are right the word will disappear.Then explain the meanings and the usages of these words.Make sentences with the words and explain the meanings.

2.Give the students five minutes to remember the words.And then the teacher pick out one of them.Let students spell and read them one by one.

3.Explain the meaning of the whole text sentence by sentence，help the students remember the main phrases and the main sentences.

4.Read the text again and answer the following questions.

(1)Why did Li Ming felt awful?

(2)Did Li Ming and Gao Yuan become friends again?

5.Listen to the tape twice and follow it line by line.
