Step 1：Warming up
T：What do you want to be when you grow up?
Ss：I want to be an astronaut.
T：Wow！Cool！Then what should you do now if you want to make your dream come true?
Ss：I should study hard and learn as more knowledge as possible.
T：Yes，you’are right.I hope your dream can come true one day.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2：Presentation
1.Teacher shows the cards with the words(boss，manage，doubt，perhaps，design，nowadays，astronaut)and teaches them.Make sentences with the words and explain the meanings.
如：boss老板
The man in black is our boss.穿黑衣服的那个人是我们的老板。
2.Give the students five minutes to remember the words.And then the teacher takes out of a card of them.Let students spell and read them one by one as a match.Give the student who won an award.
3.Open the books to Page 146，listen and read.(Listen to the tape and pay attention to the words’ pronunciation)Ask one student to read the words and others pick out the mistakes.
The students read the text by themselves.Try to find out the main phrases and main sentences in this text and remember them.
Give the students several minutes to remember the dialogue，then role play the dialogue.
Explain the meaning and the language points of the text.
三、布置作业
Write a passage bout what you want to be in the future.
