Step 1:Warming up
T:What will you miss most about junior high school?

T:What would you like to say to your best friend before you graduate?
Ss:Whatever I do in the future,I will remember our friendship forever.
T:Yeah,It’s wonderful! Now let’s look at other students’ sayings about graduation.
二、展开过程,探究新知
Step 2:Presentation
1.Teacher shows the turntable with the words(achieve,senior,quarrel,valuable,newcomer,reunion)and turns the turntable. Teaches one when it stops.Make sentences with the word and explain the meanings.Do this several times until the teacher has taught every word.
2.Give the students five minutes to remember the words.And then the teacher picks out some of them.Let students spell and read them one by one.
3.The students read the text by themselves.Try to underline the main sentences of this lesson.
(1)I will never forget Danny’s desk cycle.
(2)Good luck with your inventions in the future!
(3)It’s time to move on to the next level.
4.The teacher explains the text sentence by sentence.And then ask the students to remember the typical sentences.
5.Read the lesson and match the names with the sentences of Exercise 1 on Page 151.
