    本课是第三话题的第一课,主要活动是1a,3和4a。通过康康邀请同学在家就餐的情景呈现主要教学内容,学习有关询问吃什么喝什么的表达以及常用的就餐用语,同时借助图片学习食物名词的表达,并初步了解可数名词和不可数名词的用法和区别。语音板块将学习字母a及其组合a+ss/st/sk/sp,ar,ai,ay的读音规则,并能根据发音规则进行单词的拼读和拼写。

    能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并在实际的对话操练中加以应用:
    wuld, yurself, fish, chicken, rice, drink, juice, milk, water, vegetable, bread, hamburger, idea;
    能借助图片学习食物的表达,并初步了解可数名词与不可数名词的用法并掌握其一般用法;
    能掌握含有wuld like表达就餐意愿的表达法,

    在教师的帮助与指引下,通过对话操练、听力训练等活动学习、操练并巩固就餐用语,如:

    结合已学单词,了解字母a及其组合a+ss/st/sk/sp,ar,ai,ay的读音规则,并能根据发音规则进行单词的拼读和拼写。

    1.Lk at the pictures f fd and drinks and learn t read the new wrds by yurself. Then check yur prnunciatin with yur partner. Read the new wrds t the whle class t check the prnunciatin.
    2.Sit in grups. Discuss in grups. Think f the wrds abut fd and drinks yu have learned (new wrds are als OK) and write them dwn n the paper. Then the students frm each grup cme t the blackbard t write dwn the wrds. The grup which can write dwn the mst wrds is the winner in this grup cmpetitin.

    3.D 3. Lk at the pictures in 3. Match the wrds with the pictures individually. Check the answers with yur partner. Then divide the wrds int cuntable nuns and uncuntable nuns with yur partner. Try t find the rules f cuntable nuns and uncuntable nuns.
    Cuntable nuns: bananas, vegetables, eggs, hamburgers, bananas
    Uncuntable nuns: water, milk, juice, rice, bread, chicken, fish
    4.Lk at the pictures f fd and drinks. Answer the teacher’s questins abut having a meal.
    e.g.
    T: Wuld yu like sme eggs?
    Ss: Yes, please.
    T: What wuld yu like t eat/drink?
    Ss: I wuld like sme rice/a glass f water, please.
    5.D 1a. Lk at the picture in 1a. Try t predict what the cnversatin is abut.
    Listen t the cnversatin and cmplete the table in 1b. Check the answers with yur partner. Then read 1a after the tape.

    2.Help the students t think f the wrds abut fd and drinks. Check the spelling n the blackbard in the grup cmpetitin.

    5.Play the tape. Check the answers in 1b. Crrect their intnatin and prnunciatin.

    2.D 4a. Divide the class int six grups. Each grup reads ne grup f wrds in 4a. Discuss in grups and try t find the rules f sunds abut the letter(s) “a”, “ar”, “ai”, “ay” by themselves. Then ne student in each grup reads ut the sunds and teaches the sunds t the whle class. Then the whle class listen t the tape and check the sunds. Read the sunds and wrds alud after the tape.

    3.D 4b. Read the wrds and circle the wrds with different sunds in each grup. Then check the answer with yur partner. The whle class check the answers tgether.

    2.Play the tape and help the students check the sunds. Crrect their sunds while they are reading.
    3.Give the students help when they have difficulties in reading the wrds.

    Make up new cnversatins with the given infrmatin in the table, using the expressins abut asking and answering the questins abut having a meal. Then practice in grups and sme grups reprt t the class.

    Teaching reflectin:
    这节课是本话题的第一个课时,学生刚接触大量的关于食物与饮料的名词,可数名词和不可数名词,因此学生在区别可数和不可数时还存在困难,教师应予以适时的帮助和引导。同时,学生在教学活动中想出了更多的关于食物与饮料的名词,可是却未能用英语进行顺畅地表达,教师在予以学生鼓励和肯定的同时,也应给予学生帮助。最后,在语音板块中,学生在小组中找出不同发音的单词时,受到知识积累的限制,个别单词的发音,尤其是/ V /和/2/,容易产生混淆,因此教师应引导学生在平时养成读准每一个元音音素和辅音音素的习惯。
