Step1 Revisin
Lk at the fllwing table, cmpare the students, using ‘tall, heavy, fast’.
Step 2 Teaching and practicing ‘(nt) as + a. + as’
1. Presentatin
Lk at Millie and Amy, wh is taller? Millie is as tall as Amy.
Peter is taller than Simn. We can als say ‘Simn is nt as tall as peter.’
(use these sentences as mdel, try t lead ut the meaning f ‘(nt) as tall as’
Practice mre s that Ss knw hw t use ‘… than’ and ‘(nt) as … as’.
2. Practice using ‘… than’, ‘the mst…’, ‘as…as’, ‘nt as … as’.

Step 4. Act as Millie, Sandy, Daniel, and Simn.
Just nw, we knw which utdr activity Amy likes best, which she desn’t like.
What abut ther students? D yu want t knw their hbbies?
(Shw them the diagram n P11. Help them understand it and then talk abut it in grups. Then ask them t practise as the fur children)
Step 5. Talk abut their wn hbby.
What abut yurselves? Can yu draw sme stars in the table t tell us which yu like best and which yu dn’t like?
(after they finish drawing) nw I want sb. T tell us his r her hbbies. At the same time, the thers listen carefully and draw prper stars t shw his r her hbbies.
Step 6. Finish the sentences n P11 and d ther exercises (PPT)
Design a diagram, including 5 utdr activities they want t talk abut, using stars t shw which ne is the mst interesting and which ne they are nt interested in. Then write as least 4 sentences, using ‘… than’, ‘the mst…’, ‘as…as’, ‘nt as … as’
