    Millie’s pencil bx is the same size as Amy’s pencil bx.

    Teaching steps:
    Step I. Lead-in
    Revise the use f ‘mre/fewer/less…than’ and ‘the mst/fewest/least’. (make sme sentences)
    Step II. Pre-task
    Task 1 “be the same as” and “be different frm”.
    Ask sme questins abut the picture. (见课件)
    T: What can yu see in the picture?
    D the girls wear the same kind f sweaters?
    What abut their skirts?
    Pint ut: Amy’s sweater is the same as Millie’s sweater.
    Amy’s sweater and Millie’s sweater are the same.
    Amy’s hair is different frm Millie’s hair.
    Amy’s hair and Millie’s hair are different.
    Task 2 Make mre cmparisns.
    Step III. While-task
    Task 1 Say smething abut the picture f Part C n Page 31.
    Simn’s unifrm is the same as Daniel’s unifrm.
    Jhn’s unifrm is different frm Daniel’s unifrm.
    Make different sentences with the picture.
    E.g. Jhn’s hair is different frm Simn’s hair… …
    Use the fllwing pictures f Part C1 n Page 31 t say which things are the same and which things are different.
    E.g.: Millie’s skirt is different frm Tina’s skirt.
    Millie’s cat is different frm Tina’s cat.
    Millie’s shes are the same as Tina’s shes.
    Millie’s scks are the same as Tina’s scks.

    Task 2 Finish Parts C1 and C2.
    Task 3 Lk at the pictures f Part A n Page 37 and make sentences.
    Ss: Picture 1 has mre pens than Picture 2.
    Picture 3 has fewer pens than Picture 1.
    Picture 2 has the same pens as Picture 3.
    Picture 1 has the mst pens f the 3 pictures.
    The pens in Picture 1 are different frm the pens in Picture 2/3.
    ……
    Task 4 Finish Part A n Page 33.
    Check the answers with the Ss.
    Ask the Ss t make mre sentences with “the mst/fewest”.
    Task 5 Ask the Ss t answer sme questins:
