Step 1 Warming-up
First, I will ask students sme questin: When were yu brn? When is yur birthday? D yu knw what yur star sign is? (If they dn’t knw, ask them t find their star signs n Page 4 and Page 5)
Step 2 Presenting
I will say, “There are 12 mnths in a year. There are 12 star signs in a year, t. We can als say: A year is divided int 12 different star signs. Nw. I will shw yu a table please find ut what star signs are in a year”
Step 3 Practicing
1. Ask students t read the text silently and finish the lists f “date” and “star sign” in the table.
2. Read the text after the tape. Then finish the list f “Characteristic” in the table. If students meet new wrds, I’ll ask them t guess their meanings. If they can’t. I’ll explain.
3. Ask students t finish Part B n Page 6. Check the answer in class. (1. e 2. c 3. h 4. b 5. a 6. f 7.d 8. g)
