    4. Language Points

      (1) look beautiful / modern / young /…

         "Look" is a conjugate verb, and an adjective should be added after it.

    e.g. Our school looks beautiful.

            The library looks modern.

      (2) so + adj. (adjective) so "So, so;"

    e.g. The playground is so big.

         Our hall is so bright.

      (3) show sb. around sp. take someone to visit a place

    e.g. Let me show you around my school.

      (4) in front of in front of

         in the front of in the front of

    e.g. We’re in front of the classroom building.

            There is a blackboard in the front of the classroom.

    (5) on the ground floor

    e .g. My classroom is on the ground floor.

      (6) This way, Mum. This way, Mum.

    (7) over there / here

    e.g. What’s the building over there.

    (8) the man in the white shirt

    The person in the white shirt here means "to wear, to wear".

    e.g. Who’s the man in the white shirt.

    [Design intent] The teacher gave 5 photos of Millie school, with 4 questions for each photo, what is the name of the place? Where is this place located in the school? What does the place look like? And what can we do in this place? The last question is the function of the place. Use the form of pairing two students with one question and one answer for language output. Require language coherence and accuracy. Teachers and capable students can provide some assistance to students who have difficulties, so that they can speak sentences with confidence. When explaining the knowledge points, according to the above-mentioned memories and real dialogue exchanges with classmates, to help students understand the key phrases and usage summary in this dialogue. Encourage students to ask questions, speak more if they don’t understand, and correct students’ inaccurate pronunciation in a timely manner, and correct them on the spot to lay a solid foundation and prepare for the following exercises.

    5. Translate the following sentences into English

    [Design Intent] The difficulty of the exercises in this part ranges from easy to difficult. When selecting students, the teacher should pay attention to the objects. Simple tasks are solved by students of general ability, and difficult tasks are solved by students with more ability. Or let students with strong ability help students with weak ability, teachers can also participate in helping students.
