    2.激发学生兴趣,让他们运用所学知识与自己的朋友进行打招呼和问候的
    练习。

    3.掌握以下重点句子:
    ①Hell, I’m Jenny!
    ②I’m frm Canada.
    ③What’s yur name?
    ④Hw are yu?
    ⑤I’m fine. And yu?
    ⑥I’m gd,thanks.
    ⑦Nice t meet yu.
    Step 1:Lead-in
    Lead-in by discussing the fllwing questins:
    1.What is yur name?
    2.Where are yu frm?
    3.Hw are yu?
    Discuss the questins in grups. The teacher shws sme pictures f different peple and places,such as Jenny,Danny,Li Ming,Canada,China.
    Ask the students t talk abut them fr three minutes,and then let them present their results in class.
    Step 2:Listening
    Listen t the tape and find the answers t the questins:
    1.Where is Danny frm?
    2.Hw is Li Ming?
    3.Hw is Wang Mei?
    Finish the task in class rally.
    Step 3:Reading
    Read the lessn and decide the fllwing statements are true r false.
    1.Danny is frm Canada.
    2.Jenny is fine.
    Finish the task in class rally.
    Step 4:Activities
    1.Greet with friends in grups. Make up a dialgue between three r fur students. Then present the dialgues in frnt f the class. The fllwing sentences can be used:
    What’s yur name?
    Hw are yu?
    Where are yu frm?
    Nice t meet yu.
    2.Wrk with yur partners. Act ut the dialgue between Jenny,Danny and Li Ming.
    Step 5:Write a shrt nte
    Suppse yu are ging t intrduce yurself. Write a shrt nte. Remember t tell what yur name is and where yu cme frm.
    Practice fr a while. Then let sme students read their ntes in frnt f the class.
    Step 6:Cme t “Let’s D It!”
    Listen t the tape and finish Exercise 1 tgether. Read the dialgue again and finish Exercise 2.
    Wrk with yur partners. Act ut the dialgue. Suppse yu and yur partners are Jenny and her parents.
    Practice fr a while. Then ask sme students t present their dialgues in frnt f the class.

    Finish Exercise 3 in “Let’s D It!”.
