设计意图:此环节利用图片展示,师生间的对话导入本课的话题“地震”,利用会话将学生带入地震现场,预热本课的词汇和句型。
Step 2:Prereading
Teach phrases and practice the sentence patterns.
Present the new wrds:earthquake,calm,bject,system,survival,stay away frm,stay calm.
Shw sme pictures f the new wrds n the screen.

设计意图:通过竞赛游戏的方式充分调动学生主动参与的积极性,增添了学生语言学习的乐趣,使学生在操练中潜移默化地感知本课的词汇和语法。让学生有多种感官体验,突破本课教学重难点。

设计意图:本活动要求学生快速把握课文信息,学会找关键句,快速跳读,以找出答案为目的。小组之间进行竞争,学生积极性高,课堂利用率高。

Task 3 Read the article alud after the recrder.
教师播放视频,播放一句,暂停一次,学生观看视频并跟读对话。

设计意图:本活动设计在读课文两遍后,学生对课文内容已经有了一定的了解,跟着视频大声朗读课文可以加深对文章的理解,并且对于学生准确的发音以及培养他们的语感有重要的作用。
Task 4 Wrk in grup f 8 t deal with the key wrds,phrases and sentences.
教师把学生分为8人一组,学生通过合作探究找出大屏幕上的重点句子,并学习。
the key wrds,phrases and sentences:
1.Stay calm as the earth begins t shake and mve.当大地开始摇晃和移动时保持镇静。
stay calm保持镇静。stay此处为系动词,意为“保持……的状态”。calm形容词,“平静的;镇静的”,用在stay后作表语。
2.An earthquake is dangerus,but there are things yu can d t prtect yurself.
地震很危险,但也有一些措施可以保护你自己。
本句中的t d不定式作目的状语。
3.Yu need t have smething strng arund yu t prtect yu frm falling bjects.
你需要周围有结实的东西以避免下落的物体伤着你。
smething strng结实的东西。形容词修饰不定代词要后置。bject名词,“物体”,failing bjects下落的物体。
4.Stay away frm buildings and trees.远离建筑物和树。
stay away frm远离……。
5.If yu are clse t the sea,try t get as far away frm the water as pssible.
如果你离大海很近,尽可能地远离水。
pssible尽可能……,相当于 sb. can。
6.Yur chances f survival in an earthquake g up if yu stay calm.
如果你保持镇静,在地震中逃生的机会就会增多。
survival名词,“生存”,其动词是survive。
设计意图:学生应是学习的主体,教师要努力调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,通过组内合作讨论,探究,找出对话中的关键单词和短语,把所学的知识转化为学习能力。
