强调句型是英语中的一种重要的句子结构，它可以强调除谓语以外的其它成分，是英语学习者必须掌握的一种重点句型，因而在高考英语试卷上占有一席之地。现对强调句型的各个主要方面作以下归纳。

It is(was)+ 被强调部分+ that（强调部分是人时也可用wh/whm） +其他成分

It was in the schl lecture hall that we celebrated ur Party’s birthday n July 1st. （ 强调地状）
It was n July 1st that we celebrated ur Party’s birthday in the schl lecture hall. （强调时状）
Step = 3 \* ROMAN III 强调句型注意要点
(1).强调句型的时态要以原句的时态为依据。原句用现在时，强调句用is；若原句为过去时，强调句中则要用was。例如：
We watched “red mvies” yesterday. （原句）
→It was “red mvies” that we watched yesterday.
（强调宾语”red mvies”，原句watched为过去时，强调句也用过去时was。）
(2).要注意主谓一致性。例如：
It’s we wh are t answer fr it.
It’s I, nt my classmates, that am ding hand cpied newspaper.
(3).强调时间、地点状语时不得用when和there取代that，也应避免使用which。
(4).被强调的是疑问句，改为强调句后仍用疑问句结构。例：
Where did yu celebrate ur Party’s 99th birthday?
→Where was it that yu celebrated ur Party’s 99th birthday.
陈述句：
It was by watching”red mvies” and ding hand cpied newspapers that we celebrated ur Party’s 99th birthday. 我们通过看红色电影，做手抄报来庆祝我们党的99岁生日。
一般疑问句：
Was it by watching”red mvies”and ding hand cpied newspapers that yu celebrated ur Party’s 99th birthday.你们是通过看电影，做手抄报来庆祝我们党的99岁生日吗？
特殊疑问句：
Hw was it that yu celebrated ur Party’s 99th birthday? 你们 是怎么庆祝我们党的99岁生日的？
特殊疑问词 + is / was it that?
究竟为了什么你没来参加这个活动?
----Why was it that yu didn’t attend the activity?
究竟是什么阻止你实现梦想?
----What was it that prevented yu frm realizing yur dream?
(5). nt… until 结构的强调：
强调“nt…until”引导的时间状语时，要用“it is/was nt until…that…”结构,that后面的句子要用肯定式，且须用陈述句语序。
Eg: We did nt get ff the bus until it stpped .
 It was nt until it stpped that we gt ff the bus.
(注意：强调该结构时nt until不能分开)

Step = 4 \* ROMAN IV.强调句型的判断
It is/was— that”去掉，如果剩余部分句子结构仍然完整，那么这个句子就是强调句；如果句子不完整，则不是强调句。如：
It is true that he jin the Cmmunist Party f China. (主语从句）
It was n July 1st that we celebrated ur Party’s 99th birthday. (强调句式)
注：强调时间状语和地点状语时与定语从句的区别：
（1）It was in 1921 that ur Party was funded.(强调句式)
（2）It was 1921 when ur Party was funded.(定语从句)
即：强调时间或地点时有介词置于其前时，则连接词用that。其前面应有介词而被省去时，则用连接词when（时间）或where(地点)。
