Book 1 Module9 People and places一、  教学内容：Unit2 They’re waiting for the buses or trains.二、  课型：Reading and writing三、  教学目标：   1、能够正确使用本单元的单词和词组。2、能够读懂包含现在进行时态句型的简单的文章。3、能够介绍不同国家的时差,在不同的时间里不同国家的人们做些什么事情。4、掌握明信片的格式，运用现在进行时态正确地写一张明信片。5、在中外对比中，了解不同国家生活情况。培养学生对异国文化、生活习俗的兴趣，提高对本国文化的认识，进一步树立正确的语言学习观。四、教学重难点：1、能够阅读包含现在进行时态句型的简单的文章。能够介绍不同国家在不同的时间里，人们做些什么事情。（重点）2、能读懂对正在发生的事情的描述，学会用明信片来描述自己或他人正在做的事情。（难点）五、          教学准备：课堂整体运用任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息，培养学生阅读技能。通过了解不同国家的生活习俗，培养学生的人文素养和对异国文化的认识。在教学过程中，采用多媒体手段辅助教学，利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。因此，本节课需准备：PPT课件、挂图、录音机、课堂练习表格、奖品六、          预习要求：1、根据音标自学本课新单词和词组。2、查找相关资料，找出你认为本课较重要的语言点和短语。七、          教学过程：教学步骤教师活动学生活动设计意图   Step OneWarming-up (3’)        1.Lead inAsk one Ss to do the action with the given words, the other Ss guess and say like this : He is swimming/ running…. 2．See and sayShow some pictures to revise the pattern. Get students to ask and answer in pairs. For example: What is she doing? She is getting up.  Say the sentences like this: He is swimming/ running….     Ask and answer in pairs. For example: What is she doing? She is getting up.  通过这个环节，既可以活跃课堂气氛，.也能从说句子可以复习上节课的现在进行时态.还训练了学生的反应。 通过小组合作进一步考验学生对Unit1知识的掌握程度，培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。   Step TwoPre-reading(5’)  1、Show students a map of the world and some famous cities. Tell them there are 24 time tones in the world, and at the same moment, people in different countries have different time tones and they are doing different activities. For example: It’s 1:00 a.m. in Beijing. People are sleeping. People aren’t having dinner.（Activity 1）2、Let the students learn words and phrases they will use in the reading materials. 1、Look at the world’s map and the cities , learn the time tones. Say people in different countries have different time tones and they are doing different activities. For example: It’s 1:00 a.m. in London. People are  …. People aren’t ….. （Activity 1）   2、Learn the words and phrases they will use in the reading materials.
