形容词副词比较级的变化规则
形容词和副词的比较级用于表示两者（人或事物）的比较；在翻译过程中，时常会在形容词/副词原有词义前加上“更”。e.g. He is taller than ther students. 他比别的学生高。

比较级 + and + 比较级 表示“越来越……”The flwers are mre and mre beautiful.The tree grws taller and taller.
the + 比较级，the + 比较级 表示“越……，越……”The mre careful yu are，the fewer mistakes yu’ll make.

常见修饰比较级的词：1）只用于修饰比较级：much、even、still、far等；e.g. The rm is much larger than that ne.注意：still修饰形容词、副词时，可位于比较级之前或之后。e.g. He wrks still harder than ever. = He wrks harder still than ever. 他比以往学习更加努力了。
常见修饰比较级的词：2）既可以修饰比较级又可以修饰原级：a little、a bit、rather等。e.g. He arrived a little late. He arrived a little later than me.

2）that和thse在比较级中的应用
that指代前面出现的不可数名词；thse指代前面提到的复数名词。e.g. The weather in Beijing in winter is much clder than that in Guangzhu. The cars made in Guangzhu are mre expensive than thse made in Xi’an.
① n mre… than “与……一样，不比……多”e.g. The peple can see n mre than the King. 人们能看到的和国王一样多。② mre than “不只是，非常”e.g. She is mre than kind t us all, 她对我们非常热心。
④ less than “不到，不太……”e.g. In less than a week, he finished his wrk. 在不到一周的时间里，他完成了这项工作。② mre r less “基本上，大体上，大约”e.g. The wrk is mre r less finished. 这项工作大体上完成了。
④ n less than “多达，不少于……”e.g. N less than 2 millin peple came. 至少来了两百万人。
