介词的含义：“prepsitin”是由“前缀pre-（在…前部） + psitin（位置）”构成的，所以又叫前置词，是一种虚词，缩写形式为prep。
介词的使用：一般放在名词、代词或动名词的前面，主要用来表示时间、地点、目的、原因、程度和方式等，在句子中不能单独作任何成分。

1. 表示时间的用法：
（1）at 一般用来表示在某一具体的时间点。

（2）in 表示年、季节、月、周、上午、下午、晚上等。

（3）用来表示具体的某一天，如果专指某一天的上午、下午、晚上，要用n

2.注意：不用介词表达时间的几种情况【拓展】
1).当表示时间的词前有this, that时，如：this mrning
2).当表示时间的词前有next时，如：next Sunday
3).当表示时间的词前有last时，如：last Sunday
4).当表示时间的词前有ne, any, each, every, sme或all时，
如：Yu can cme any day.
3.表手段、方式的介词，重点掌握by， in， with.
①by+交通工具，指的是所用的交通方式。
by train坐火车 by taxi坐出租车 by bus坐公共汽车
by bike骑自行车 by bat坐船 by plane/air坐飞机
②in+方式/语言，使用...
They paid in cash. 他们用现金支付。

方位介词与地点介词的用法辨析【拓展】
1). n, ver, abve
A.介词n表示一物放在另一物上面，两者有接触，如：The bk is n the table.
B.介词ver表示一种悬空的状态，即“在…上方”，如：Is there any bridge ver the river?
C.介词abve表示一般的“高于…”，“在…之上”，如：There was an electric clck abve his bed.
2). under与belw
A.介词under是ver的反义词即“在…下方”，如：They were seen under the tree.
B.介词belw是abve的反义词即“低于…”，“在…之下”，如：They live belw us.
3).. in、n、at
A.介词in表示“排、行、组”，如：We are in Team One.
B.介词n表示“左、右”，如：Li Ping is n my left.
C.介词at表示“前、后”，如：I sit at the frnt f the classrm.
4). t、fr
A.介词t表示目的地或去的目的，如：Will yu take a train t Tianshan？
B.介词fr表示动身去某地，如：He gt n a train fr Shanghai.
5). at与in
A.介词at表示较小的地方，如家、村、乡村等，如：He lives at a small village.
B.介词in表示较大的地方，如大城市、国家、洲等，如：He lives in Beijing.
6). at与n
A.介词at用于门牌号，如：He lives at N.200, Nanjing Rad.
B.介词n用于路名，如：He lives n Nanjing Rad.
7). in、n、t
A.介词in表示“包含”如：Beijing is in the nrth f China.
B.介词n表示“紧邻”如：Canada lies n the nrth f the U.S.
C.介词t表示“没接触”如：France lies t the suth f England.
