1.Warm up.
Shw sme pictures abut sprts.引导学生运用形容词,副词的比较级来谈论这些运动。
2.结合new wrds,检查预习情况。适当解释部分生词,引导学生运用生词,有目的得把课文中出现的句型在new wrds的学习中呈现。
Lk at the pictures, discuss and answer the questins.(合作学习。)
大声朗读、学习、操练并识记。
创设情境,结合描述这些运动的形容词,有目的得让学生复习运用单音节,双音节及多音节形容词、副词的比较级。
通过对生词和短语的学习,把课文中出现的句型在new wrds的学习中呈现,为课文的学习做了大量的铺垫。从而解决了阅读中的疑难。让学生轻松地进入到阅读中。

1.Wrk in pairs. Talk abut the pictures. Tell the students t lk at the tw pictures and think abut what they bth shw。
2.While-reading
(1)Tell the students t lk at the title f the passage by Darning and ask them what they think the passage is abut. Ask them t guess what sprt he is training fr. Then read the passage
(2)Tell the students t lk at the table after the passage. Then read the passage again。
(3) Cmplete the passage with the wrds in the bx.
Ask the students listen t the passage then finish Activity3.
Let the students talk abut the pictures in pairs. e.g. The blue team beat the red team./The blue team played against the red team./A cach is a sprts teacher wh helps a team t play better.
Read carefully根据下边问题自读课文. 1.Why is Darning ging t schl n Saturday?
2. When des he start practise?
3. Why des he arrive as early as he can?
4. Why d Daming and his teammates train harder than usual?

Read the text tgether and underline the key infrmatin and cmplete the table.
Have the students check their answers in pairs.
Read the wrds in the bx with the class and check the meaning.
Listen carefully. Have the students check their answers in pairs.
