    This is the first English lessn. Students shuld knw hw t greet with teacher and ther students.
    Ⅱ Arrangement f teaching in this mdule
    Three perids fr this mdule, ne perid fr ne unit.
    Ⅲ Teaching fcus:
    ⅰ Master language f daily greetings.
    Key vcabulary and phrases: Hell! Class, my, name, Miss, gd mrning, afternn, Gdbye!
    ⅱ Be skilled in ral expressin f greetings.
    Ⅳ Teaching aims:
    ⅰ Functin: Greetings in students’ daily life.
    ⅱ Listening: Students can understand thers’ greetings by listening.
    ⅲ Speaking: Students can intrduce themselves and greet with thers.
    ⅳ Reading: Students can understand the similar dialgue f greetings.
    ⅴ Writing: Students can write greeting wrds in their daily life.
    Ⅴ Character building:
    Mtivate students’ interest in learning English. Make friends with all students.

    Ⅵ Teaching Prcedures:
    Part I: Lead in:
    Step 1: Greeting with the students.
    Step 2: Intrduce myself and ask students t intrduce themselves t the class.
    Part II:Vcabulary study:
    Step 1:Play the recrding and have them pint ut the wrds and phrases in Activity 1.
    Step 2: Play the recrding again and have them read after the tape.
    Step 3: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in PPT.
    Step 4: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in Activity6 and check their answer with their partner.
    Part Ⅲ: Dialgue study:
    Step 1: Practise the dialgue with the whle class and have them make crrespnding reacts.
    Step 2: Have students t practise the previus dialgue with their partner.
    Step 3: Wrk in pairs and d the Activity 7.
    Step 4: Wrk in pairs and practise the dialgue in Activity 8. Have sme f them t perfrm their dialgue fr the whle class.
    Part Ⅳ: Letters study:
    Step 1: Listen letters in Activity 5 and read after the tape.
    Step 2: write letters in Activity 7 and have them number the letters in Activity 7.
    Step 3: Have sme f them t write dwn letters n the blackbard and check in the class.
    Step 4: Listen the sng in Activity 6 and sing.
    Unit 2 Gd mrning. I’m Chen Zhng.

    In this text students will learn hw t intrduce themselves t thers, and make relative greetings.

    ⅰ Functin: Self-intrductin and greetings in the situatin f first meeting.
    ⅱ Listening: Students can understand thers’ intrductin and greetings by listening.

    ⅳ Reading: Students can understand the similar dialgue f self-intrductin and greetings .

    Step 2: Ask students t intrduce themselves t the class.
    Part II: Vcabulary study:
    Step 1:Play the recrding and have them pint ut the wrds and phrases in Activity 1.
    Step 2: Play the recrding again and have them read after the tape.
    Step 3: Have the students match the sentences in Activity 3 and check their answer with their partner.
    Step 4: Listen the dialgue in Activity 3 and check their answer.
    Step 5: Write the sentences in Activity 5.
    Part Ⅲ: Dialgue study:
    Step 1: Listen sentences in Activity 4 and have them number the sentences in Activity 4.
    Step 2: Teacher practise a dialgue with single student as fllws:
    Teacher: Gd mrning.
    Student: Gd mrning.
    Teacher: What’s yur name?
    Student: My name is …
    Teacher: Hw are yu?
    Student: Fine, thanks.
    Step3: Wrk in pairs and practise the dialgue in Activity 6. Have sme f them t perfrm their dialgue fr the whle class.
