知识目标 a. 基本能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇:strng, star, b.能听懂,会读会说,句型:Can he/she… ? Yes, he/she can. / N, he/she can’t.
(2)技能目标 a.能听懂Can he/she play ftball/play basketball? 并用Yes, he/she can./N, he/she can't来回答 b.使用“can”谈论他人的能力。
(3)情感目标: a.激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动学生学习的积极性。 b.营造轻松、和谐、民主的学习氛围,增进教师和学生的感情,鼓励学生大胆发言,大胆展示自己的能力。
【学情分析】
四年级的孩子对英语的热情还是比较高，也有一定的基础，愿意用英语进行简单的言语沟通。
【重点难点】
1. 使用“can”谈论他人的能力。

【教学过程】
Step 1: Warm up
1.Greeting: T: Gd mrning. Hw are yu ? Can yu answer my questins? Can yu ride fast/ run fast/ jump high/ jump far?
2.Listen t the Chant and fill in the blanks. Then read it by actins. Can he swim ? Can he fly a kite ? Can he skate? Can he ride a bike?
3. Shw 9 pictures n the screen, Get students t read the phrases by actins tgether.
4.Pairwrk: A: Can yu ride fast? B: Yes, I can./ N, I can’t.
Step 2: Lead in
1.T: Tday, We’ll talk abut sb’s abilities. After learning ,we’ll knw hw t answer“Can Sam play ftball?”.板书课题。
Step 3: Presentatin
1.Lk at the pictures and answer the questins. T: What’s Sam ding? Ss: He’s playing ftball. T: What’s Lingling ding? Ss: She’s playing basketball.
2.Listen t the tape and find ut hw des Ms Smart ask? (板书重点句型)
3.Listen t again and find ut hw des PE teacher answer. (板书重点句型)
4.Practice:First read the fur sentences tgether. Then ask and answer.
T: Can Amy run fast?
Ss: N, she can’t.
T: Can Sam ride fast?
Ss: N, he can’t. (通过练习引出N, he can’t./N, she can’t.并板书)
5.Guessing game: Shw sme phts f cartn characters n the screen. Get students t guess : Can… play ftball/ basketball? And answer: Yes, he/she can. N, he/she can’t.
6. Listen and chse. Watch the VCR then finish it. Sam can play ftball. He’s . A.strng B. fat Lingling can play basketball. She’s . A.lng B. tall She is ur ________? A: star. B: far.

1.write dwn wn abilities n the paper. T: Please take ut the papers. Yu write dwn yur names and yur abilities. Fr example: My name is Linda. I can sing sngs. I can’t swim.
2.If yu finish it, put it int the red bx. Then play a guessing game.
3. Get ne student t chse a paper frm the bx. Then describe like this: This is XXX. He can… He can’t…
