T: Gd. It’s Amy’s new schlbag.

T: Gd jb! Amy has a fat panda. Amy’s schlbag is heavy. We can ask Amy: Amy, What’s in yur schlbag?
Write dwn the sentence “What’s in yur schlbag?” n the blackbard. Teach the wrd “schlbag”.
T: Pay attentin t the wrd “schlbag”: “s” sunds /s/, “ch” sunds /k/, “sch” sunds /sk/, “” sunds /u:/, schl, schl, schl, “a” sunds /æ/, bag, bag, bag, schl + bag=schlbag.

The teacher shws three strybks and says: Strybks. One strybk, tw strybks, three strybks.
Write dwn “three strybks” n the blackbard. Lead students t bserve the structure f the wrd “strybk”.
T: This wrd “strybk” is a cmpund wrd. The wrds “stry” and “bk” are nt written separately. And what’s in my schlbag?

Tips: The teacher hides the wrd card in a certain place. Ask ne student t find. If he/she cmes near the wrd card, students speak the wrd quietly. If he/she ges far away frm the card, students read the wrd ludly.
2. Play a game—“Simn says.”
