    ·能够感知并归纳i-e在单词中的发音规则,即i-e在单词中发长音/aɪ/
    ·能够读出符合i-e发音规则的单词
    ·能够根据单词的读音拼写出符合i-e发音规则的单词
    Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin & Lead-in
    Teaching purpse
    课前利用歌曲热身,创设愉快的英语学习氛围。说唱自编歌谣,复习字母i在闭音节中的发音/ɪ/,并以谈论同学们的书包来引出本课新授部分的情境。
    1. Greetings.
    2. Sing the sng—My schlbag. (出示课件)
    3. Let’s chant.
    T: What’s this?
    Ss: A pig.
    T: Yes, It’s a big pig. (Write dwn “big, pig” n the blackbard.) Hw many pigs nw?
    Ss: Six.
    T: Gd. Six big pigs. (Write dwn “six” n the blackbard.)
    Chant in grups. Let’s have a PK. The winner will get a red star.
    4. Lead-in.
    T: S1, shw me yur schlbag. What’s in yur schlbag?
    S1: A Chinese bk, a maths bk…
    Talk abut things in the schlbags with several students.
    Teaching purpse
    教师在教学中通过拆音、拼音和分类等语音意识训练活动,引导学生观察、发现并自己归纳i-e在单词中的发音规则。
    Step 2: Presentatin
    1. Find the letters: i-e.
    Find and learn the prnunciatin rule f “i-e”.
    (课件出示:Zm背书包的图片)
    (1)T: Lk! Zm has a new schlbag, t. Ww! It’s nice. (Write dwn “nice” n the blackbard.)
    Students read it after the teacher. The teacher underlines the letters “i-e” and teaches /aɪ/.
    (2)T: Zm’s schlbag is nice. S he likes it very much. (Write dwn “like” n the blackbard.)
    Students read it after the teacher. The teacher underlines the letters “i-e”.
    T: Hw des “i-e” sund? Yes, “i-e” sunds /aɪ/. Read after me, /aɪ/-/aɪ/-/aɪ/.
    Read like this: i-e/aɪ/-c/s/-ice/aɪs/, nice/naɪs/; i-e/aɪ/-k/k/-ike/aɪk/, like/laɪk/.
    (3)T: Guess! What’s in Zm’s schlbag?
    Ss: An English bk/A Chinese bk/…?
    The teacher clicks the muse. Shw a kite n the PPT. (出示课件)
    Ss: Ww! It’s a kite.
    T: Yes, It’s a kite. (Write dwn “kite” n the blackbard.)
    Students read “kite” after the teacher. Then the teacher repeats /aɪ/ and let sme students try t underline the letters. (Reward students with sme red stars.)
    Read like this: i-e/aɪ/-t/t/-ite/aɪt/, kite/kaɪt/.
    (4)Click the muse and enlarge the picture f the kite n the PPT. (出示课件)
    T: Lk! There’s a secret n the kite. What is it? Yes, tw numbers: five and nine. (Write dwn “five, nine” n the blackbard.) Read like this: i-e/aɪ/-v/v/-ive/aɪv/, five/faɪv/; i-e/aɪ/-n/n/-ine/aɪn/, nine/naɪn/.
    (Reward students with sme red stars.)
    (5)T: Zm has a nice kite in his schlbag. He likes the kite very much. He flies the kite all day. He’s hungry. He’s eating sme rice. (课件出示:Zm正在吃米饭的图片) (Write dwn “rice” n the blackbard.)
    Let students underline “i-e” and read it. Then spell the wrd. (Reward students with sme red stars.)
    Lead students t bserve their cmmn pints: “i-e”, the vwel letter “i” and a silent “e” at the end f the wrds, sunds the same sund /aɪ/ with “i”. That is, “i-e” sunds /aɪ/ in the wrds.
    2. Read and match.
    T: Lk at the PPT. Read the wrds and match with the pictures. (课件出示:单词like, kite, five, nine, rice及其图片)
    3. Read after the recrding. (课件出示:教材P16 Read, listen and chant部分的音频)
    (1)Lk at the pictures carefully and say smething abut the pictures.
    (2)Students listen t the recrding.
    (3)Students read after the recrding.
    (4)Students listen t the chant and circle the letters “i-e”.
    Step 3: Practice
    Teaching purpse
    通过练习帮助学生按照发音规则拼读单词、辨认词形并完成单词的拼写。
    1. Read, listen and number. (课件出示:教材P16 Read, listen and number部分的音频)
    T: Turn t page 16 and finish the exercise f “Read, listen and number”.
    (1)The teacher teaches the wrd “fine” and students read the wrds.
    (2)Listen t the recrding and number the wrds.
    (3)Check the answers.
    Answers: 1. pig 2. big 3. fine 4. nice 5. six 6. ice
    2. Read and distinguish.
    Read the wrds in each grup and distinguish.
    3. Listen, circle and write.
    (1)Give an example.
    T: Lk at the first picture. What can yu see?
    Ss: “Five”.
    T: Great! Nw listen t the recrding. (课件出示:“five”的音频) What d yu hear?
    Ss: /faɪv/.

    (2)Lead students t bserve the pictures f this part and try t predict the cntent f the listening text.

    1. Try t read the fllwing wrds.
    Shw sme wrds with “i-e”, just like “time, wife, white, line, bite, Mike, drive” n the PPT. (出示课件)
    Let students try t spell these wrds. Then read them alud.
    2. Classify the given wrds.
    T: Read the fllwing wrds and classify them accrding t their prnunciatins. Discuss with yur partners. Then reprt the results.
