2. PPT课件、课文录音、视频、单词卡片等。
Teaching purpse
以上节课中学习的询问他人姓名的重点句型开始课程,起到“温故”的作用。同时,以带有游戏趣味的韵句进行交流,能够极大地激发学生的学习兴趣,让课堂氛围更加热烈,更有益于学生的英语学习。

Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin & Lead-in
1. Greetings.
2. Revisin.
(1) Pint t a by and ask his name in rhyme. Ask students t answer in rhyme, t.
T:(Clap hands.)What’s his name? What’s his name?
Ss: His name is… His name is…
T: What’s her name? What’s her name?(Clap hands and pint t a girl.)
Ss: Her name is… Her name is…
(2) Play a game—“I say, yu d”. (课件出示:一段有节奏的背景音乐)
T: Bys and girls, nw I say, yu d. Make yurself tall.

通过对上一节课内容的角色扮演,复习旧知识,为导入新课做好准备。
Ss: Tall, tall, tall. (Students stand up and say while they d it.)
T: Make yurself shrt. / Make yur arms lng. / Make yur eyes big. /…
Ss: Shrt, shrt, shrt! / Lng, lng, lng! / Big, big, big! /…
3. Watch and act.
Play the vide f “Let’s talk”. (课件出示:教材P24 Let’s talk板块的视频) Let students watch it and act ut the dialgue in pairs.
4. Lead-in.
T: Jhn has a gd friend. I have a gd friend, t. D yu want t knw what his/ her name is?
Step 2: Presentatin
1. Learn the sentences.
T: I have a gd friend in ur class. He is a by. He’s tall and strng. He’s in Grup 4. Guess! What’s his name?
Describe the appearance f a student in the class simply. If ther students can’t guess wh he is, lead them t ask, “What’s his name?”
T: Yu can als ask me, “Wh is he?”

教师播放录音,学生听录音跟读,训练其认真倾听且在倾听过程中获取重要信息的能力。让学生跟读,以掌握单词的正确读音。
Write dwn the sentences “What’s his name?” “Wh is he?” n the blackbard.
2. Let’s learn.
(1)Learn the wrds “tall, strng, shrt, thin”.
Ask a student t cme t the frnt f the classrm and intrduce him as a gd friend.
Then invite anther student wh is cmpletely different frm the by befre. Ask ther students t bserve their differences in figure. Lead in the wrds “tall, strng, shrt, thin”.
Shw the wrd cards in turn. Teach these wrds. Ask students t read after the teacher.
Let students pint t the classmates and use the sentence structure “He’s/ She’s…” t describe thers.
(2)Learn the phrases “tall and strng, shrt and thin”.
Pint t the tall and strng by n the pdium. Lead students t say the sentences “He’s tall.” and “He’s strng.”
Then the teacher says “He’s tall and strng.” Ask students t read the sentence after the teacher.
Practice the sentence “He’s shrt and thin.” in the same way.
(3) Learn the wrd “quiet”.
The teacher makes a gesture with the index finger t keep students quiet and says the sentence “Be quiet!” Then shw the wrd card “quiet” and read it, qu/kw/-i/aɪ/-e/ə/-t/t/, quiet. Then paste the card nt the blackbard. Help students understand the meaning f the wrd “quiet”. Lead students t use the wrd “quiet” t make sentences in the real situatins.
(4) Learn the wrd “friendly”.
Shw pictures f sme activities n the PPT and ask, “Wh is friendly?”
Explain the exact meaning f the wrd “friendly” thrugh the mvement r the expressin.
(5) Play and watch.
Play the vide f “Let’s learn” n the PPT.(课件出示:教材P25 Let’s learn板块的视频)Let students watch it.
Play it again. Ask students t imitate after it and read the wrds and the sentences ver and ver again.
The teacher describes Jhn with the sentences “I have a gd friend. He’s shrt and thin.”
Lead bys t ask, “Wh is he?” Lead girls t guess wh he is and use the sentence “His name is Jhn.” t answer.
Ask students t chse a persn frm the pictures f this sectin and practice the dialgue in pairs. Then let students act it ut.

三组活动不断升级,将新词的词义、词形及读音相统一,保证学生能够正确认读单词。这些活动会不断地重复操练新词的读音,这有助于他们熟练地掌握单词。
