    用歌曲活跃气氛,在歌曲中帮助学生复习“Wh’s yur English/ Chinese teacher?” “Is he/she…?”等句型。

    Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin & Lead-in

    2. Sing the sng—Wh’s yur teacher?
    Teaching purpse
    联系学生新学期新老师的实际,在真实、自然的情境中,用“最强记忆力”的游戏,呈现本节课所有的老师,让学生认识老师,为下一步的学习做好铺垫。
    Play the vide. (出示课件) Let students sing tgether with the music.
    Step 2: Presentatin
    1. Play a game: The strngest memry.
    T: Bys and girls, we will have sme new teachers this new term. Wh are they? D yu want t knw?
    Shw the picture f a music bk n the PPT. (出示课件) Ask the questin: What’s this? Lead students t answer: It’s a music bk. Then shw the picture f Mr Yung and say: Mr Yung is the music teacher. (出示课件)
    Intrduce the art teacher Mr Jnes, the science teacher Miss Green, the English teacher Miss White and the maths teacher Mr Li in the same way. At last shw the picture f Mrs Smith n the PPT and say: She’s the head teacher. Lead students t knw the meaning f “head teacher”.
    T: D yu remember ur teachers? Nw let me test yur memry. Wh has the strngest memry?
    Shw the six pictures in the bk n page 5. (出示课件) The teacher asks and students answer quickly.
    T: Wh’s the art teacher? Ss: Mr Jnes.
    T: Wh’s the music teacher?

    Chse the student wh has the strngest memry and give him/her an award. Then explain the difference amng “Mr, Miss, Mrs”.

    充分利用上节课所学的知识,用对比法和归类法学习新词ld 和yung。降低难度,增强学生的自信心。
    2. Learn the new wrds “ld, yung”.
    T: Wh’s Oliver’s music teacher? Ss: Mr Yung.
    Shw the picture f Mr Yung. (出示课件)
    T: Gd memry!(Pint t the white hair.) Is he yung?
    Ss: N, he isn’t. He’s ld.
    Write dwn the wrd “ld” n the blackbard and lead students t read like this: ld, ld, he’s ld.
    Shw the picture f Mr Jnes. (出示课件) Lead students t cmpare Mr Jnes with Mr Yung.
    T: Mr Yung is ld. Is Mr Jnes ld, t?
    Ss: N, he isn’t. He’s yung.
    Write dwn the wrd “yung” n the blackbard. Teach it like this: yung, yung, he’s yung. Let students try t write and read. Let students perceive the prnunciatin f the letter “y” by reading the wrds “yes, yellw, yu”. Explain that the wrd “yung” is the antnym f the wrd “ld”. Then shw a picture f an ld man and ask: Is he yung? Students answer: N, he’s ld. (出示课件)
    Play a game t practice the tw wrds between grups. One grup says: ld. The ther ne says: yung. Then exchange. At last ask students t finish the blanks.

    通过图片的直观刺激,调动学生的学习兴趣,加深学生的印象。注重采用多种方法教授单词,帮助学生学会听、说、读、写单词的方法和策略,激发学生的学习热情。
    3. Learn the new wrd “funny”.
    Shw the picture f Miss Green. (出示课件) Then ask tw questins: Wh is she? Is she yung? Ask students t answer the questins. Then say: And she’s funny. Write dwn the wrd “funny” n the blackbard and read: fun-ny funny, funny, she’s funny. Let students try t spell it and perceive the prnunciatin f the letter “y”.
    Shw tw pictures. One is a male clwn and the ther ne is a funny girl. (出示课件) Say the sentences with students: He’s funny. She’s funny. Ask students t make funny faces. Let they read the wrd ludly at the same time. At last ask students t finish the blanks.
    4. Learn the new wrd “kind”.
    T: We have knwn Mr Yung is ld. Mr Jnes is yung. Miss Green is funny. D yu remember Miss White? Hw abut Miss White?
    Shw the picture f Miss White. (出示课件) Pint t her smiling face and say: She’s kind. Then shw anther picture. (课件出示:一位不友好的男士图片) Say: He isn’t kind. Let students knw the meaning f “kind”.
    Ask students t pay attentin t the prnunciatin f the letter “i”. Lead students t read like this: kind, kind, she’s kind. Ask them t write it with their fingers at the same time. Let students practice it between bys and girls. Ask students t finish the blanks.
    5. Learn the new wrd “strict”.
    Shw the pictures f Mr Li and Mrs Smith. (出示课件)
    T: Miss White is very kind. But Mr Li is very strict. Mrs Smith is strict, t.
    Say the first sentence with a smiling face. Say the secnd sentence with staring and stmping. Say the third sentence with a strict expressin.
    Write dwn the wrd “strict” n the blackbard. Spell it slwly. Lead students t learn the prnunciatin f “str-” frm the wrd “strng”. Ask students t pay attentin t the prnunciatin f the letter “i”.
    Students read after the teacher several times. Then students read it ne by ne and practice it in sentences. The teacher pints t Mr Li and Mrs Smith and asks: Is he/she strict? Students answer: Yes, he/she is. At last students finish the blanks.

    6. Pair wrk.
    Shw the part f “Let’s learn” n page 5. (出示课件) First, let students listen t the recrding and read after it. (课件出示:教材P5 Let’s learn板块的音频) Ask students t pay attentin t the prnunciatin and the intnatin. Then ask students t imitate Oliver and Zhang Peng t ask and answer with their partners. At last chse sme students t act ut.

    Shw five pictures f different expressins and the five new wrds. (出示课件) Explain the rules f the game: If the picture matches the wrd, make a smiling face; if the picture desn’t match the wrd, make a sad face.

    Replace the picture f Mrs Smith with sme phts f teachers whm students knw well. Let students imitate t ask and answer with their partners.

    Ask sme students t act ut. Encurage students t describe their teachers with mre wrds.
