2学情分析
My class is cmpsed f 11 girls and 12 bys aged frm 14 t 15. Relatively speaking, girls perfrm better in English learning. Mst f the students are interested and active and they are willing t express themselves in class when they are cnfident in their answers. But if faced with challenges, they will be t nervus and becme less active. Besides, there are abut tw-fifth f the students wh are very quiet and shy. They need mre care, encuragement and cnfidence t shw their ideas even if they are asked easy questins.
All the students lack a natural cmmunicative envirnment t learn, practice and use new lexis. Mst f them just read the new lexis, remember the Chinese meaning and recite the spelling in a very simple and traditinal way withut enugh emphasis n meaning, frm and prnunciatin.
The teaching material is frm Oxfrd English 8B Unit7 Mre practice, which is ptinal cntent as the last part f the whle unit. And I intend t create a chance fr the students t learn and practice new lexis in a thughtful and reflective way in the cntext f reading a pem generally. In the secnd perid, the students will be guided t d sme reading cmprehensin and practice pem reading skills.
