本节课是高中英语第二册Unit 5 Humans and Nature的第一课A Sea Stry，课型是阅读课。本节课主要内容是了解人类与大海的惊险故事。通过学习本课，使学生们了解人类与海洋的关系，了解大自然带给人类的福与祸，从而引导学生如何保护海洋环境。此外，学生还将学到限制性定语从句的关系副词。

通过泛读，能够让学生对文章每个部分有初步了解，锻炼学生对文章表层含义理解，养成良好的阅读习惯，提高阅读技能。并且帮助学生组织语言回答读前问题。

Read the stry again. Cmplete the infrmatin in the bxes. Then add the stryteller’s feelings during each situatin.
Cmplete the illustratin abut hw the stryteller vercame his fear and struggled t survive frm the whirlpl. Then use the time wrds(when, suddenly, then, finally) t tell the stry.
有助于学生深层次把握文章细节内容，似学生建立起上下文关联的能力。并且通过小组合作的方式，有助于提高学生团队合作和交流能力。

What is the stry trying t say abut the relatinship between humans and nature?
Pair wrk. In English yu get wrds with similar meanings (synnyms) r wrds with ppsite meanings (antnyms). Find mre pairs f synnyms and antnyms in the stry. Discuss why such wrds are used.
Cmplete the summary with the infrmatin frm the stry.
