1. 形容词的原级 形容词的原形。2. 形容词的比较级 表示两者相比，一个比另一个更……，有比 较级的句中有than,且仅限于两者比较。

1. 单音节和少数双音节形容词、副词比较级的构成。不规则变化： 1) 在词尾加-er tall — taller smart—smarter shrt — shrter high — higher fast — faster
二、形容词、副词比较级的变化规则:
2) 以不发音的字母e 结尾的，加 -r
nice — nicer large — larger fine — finer late — later
3)重读闭音节以一个辅音字母结尾的，先双写辅音字母，再加-er。
big — bigger fat — fatter thin — thinner red — redder ht — htter wet— wetter
4)以辅音字母+y结尾的双音节词，先改y为i，再加-er。
happy—happier early— earlier funny—funnier easy — easier
5)多音节词和部分双音节词要在前面加mre
imprtant— mre imprtant delicius — mre delicius expensive — mre expensive utging — mre utging tired — mre tired serius — mre serius slwly— mre slwly
比较级有规律, 词尾加上-er两兄弟;要是以e来结尾, 只有小二(r)跟上去;重读闭音节词要牢记, 双写千万别忘记;要是“辅音+y”来结尾, 小艾(i)要把y来替, 再加-er两兄弟; 多音节词加上m--r-e, 你看这样多容易。

否定句： Lily is nt s/as tall as Mary. 莉莉不如玛丽高。(莉莉比玛丽矮。) Tara desn’t wrk s/as hard as Tina. Tara 工作不如Tina努力。 (Tina 工作比Tara 更努力。)
nt as / s … as … 不如、比不上… …表示前者不如、比不上后者。
