STUDENT BOOK (15 MINUTES)
There are tw readings fr this lessn. Teach the first reading. The secnd reading is fr students t use independently.
The readings present new vcabulary and review vcabulary the students have learned in previus lessns.

Here are sme step-by-step instructins fr ne way t teach the reading in this lessn.
Step 1: Check t see if the students have previewed the text as required. Ask if they have any questins. Encurage ther students t try t answer the questins.
Step 2: Play the auditape. Have the class fllw the auditape while lking at the text.
Step 3: Divide the class int small grups. Ask each grup t write an e-mail message fr Jenny t Li Ming explaining why Jenny, Brian and Danny finally decided t g n a camping trip. Use the reasns prvided by the text.
Step 4: If time allws, have sme grups share what they have written with the rest f the class.

Begin unit prject. This prject cvers three lessns. Students write abut a real r imaginary trip and present t ther students.

Later, a man stpped the wman. The man said, "Yu can't have an animal in yur car. Take it t the z."
