maybe adv. 意思是“也许、可能”,在句中作状语,相当于perhaps,常位于句首。
在may be中,may是情态动词,be是动词原形,两者构成完整的谓语形式,与主语形成系表结构,意为“也许是、可能是”。
maybe和may be可相互转换
He may be in the ffice.= Maybe he is in the ffice. 他或许在办公室。
Yu may be right.= Maybe yu are right. 你或许是对的。

◆What like?指外表“怎么样”,句中的like是介词。如:

——What des yur brther like? 你弟弟喜欢什么?

语法知识
比较级最高级变化规则
比较级直接在词尾+ er;最高级直接在词尾+est.
以不发音e结尾的单音节词,比较级直接加---r;最高级直接加---st.
在重读闭音节(即:辅音+元音+辅音)中,要双写结尾的辅音字母,然后比较级加---er;最高级加---est。
辅音字母加y结尾的单音节词和双音节词(有ly后缀的词除外)要将“y”改为“i”后,比较级加---er;最高级加---est。
其他双音节词和多音节词变比较级在原级前加mre;变最高级在原级前加mst。

1)表示两者(人或事物)的比较时用比较级,通常用连词 than 引导,表示“较……”或“更……一些”的意思
