Unfrgettable Independence Day
Tday was my first 4th f July celebratin, and I’ll always remember it because it was s wnderful. The 4th f July is Independence Day in the US--- the anniversary f the day the United States became its wn cuntry in 1776.
I began the day by packing my swimming suit and a twel. Then I went with my hst family t a supermarket t lad up n fd and drinks. After that we were ff t a friends’ ranch ut in the cuntry fr a barbecue and pl party.
It was all s amazing! While the adults cked fd n the barbecue, we played in the pl. Then we all ate and ate until we were cmpletely stuffed. Our friends had sme ice cream materials, s after lunch we all made hmemade ice cream. Since the temperature utside was arund 40 degrees, it seemed like the ice cream tk frever ! Althugh it was tired, it was all wrth it, because when we were finished it was the mst fantastic ice cream I have ever eaten! Then, smene asked me if I wuld like t try hrse riding. I was afraid at first, but they gave me a very gentle hrse. It was s peaceful t ride the hrse thrugh the fields and frest. Finally, when it grew dark, we had a thrilling firewrks display.
Nw I’m back hme with my hst family. Thugh I’m tired, I think this had t be the mst exciting day f my life! I can’t wait fr next year !
