One year the river frze very early and by Christmas it was cvered with thick ice. The ice gave Mr Hall an idea. He decided t have a big Christmas party n the ice. Then Mr Hall began t prepare fr the party. First, he carried ut all the furniture frm his living rm nt the ice, and prepared a lt f delicius fd. After that, he invited all his imprtant friends t the party. On Christmas Day his friends arrived at his huse and went dwn t the ice. They all said that it was a wnderful idea t have a party n ice. They were able t sit in armchairs n the carpets and enjy beautiful scenery and all the delicius fd. The party went n late night, and all the guests were very happy. Mr Hall drank a lt that night and did nt wake up until the middle f the next day. He culdn’t believe his eyes when he lked ut f the windw. The ice had brken up and had carried all his living-rm furniture and carpets ut t the sea with it.
