I. Teaching Analysis:
A)This perid is the star f the unit, it is t review the knwledge f the Ss abut the tpic f the gds. I t’ mainly deal with the listening and speaking. As we all knwn the listening and speaking is very imprtant fr language learning, they always cme in frnt f reading and writing. If the Ss can learn this perid well, it’s easily fr them t learn the rest f the unit.
B) Our students frm the cuntryside and lack f the envirnment t speaking English, s it’s necessary fr us t create sme situatin fr them t use the language.
Teaching Aims:Knwledge aims: a) can use sentences b) master the wrds 2.Aility aims :a) Ask fr and give infrmatin n prductsb) can describe prducts3.Emtin aims: have a cnfidence abut ur cuntry and prud fr her.
II. Teaching Methds: Accrding t my analysis and the new standard f the new lessn, I mainly use Tasked-based Methd and Cmmunicative Methd. Mst activities are finished in grups.
III. Learning Methds:
I will help Ss t use these strategies t finish these learning task: 1. guessing what they will listen frm the infrmatin given in titles and try t get the main idea 2. try t get the main idea frm the material
IV. Teaching Prcedures:
Step 1: Lead-inT: Lk at my dress, can yu tell me what it’s made f?S: It’s made f cttn.Let’s talk abut what yur clthes are made f?Ss discuss in grups and write dwn the wrds. (Write them in the cards)(T ges arund the grups and give the sme tips)
Step 2: Shw the pictures in the screen and try t d Activity 1 n Page 143.Step 3: Create a situatin: Mary is buying sth. in a shp, but it’s nt easy fr her t understand the questin, can yu help her?(Ss begin t d Activity 2,T ges arund and check the answers)
Step 4: Check the answers.Step 5: Read the title f Activity 3, try t understand the meaning f the title and guess what they will listen.Step 6: Listen t the tape and finish the tw questins.Step7: Check the answers and talk abut the main idea f the listening material.
Step 8: Listen t the tape and try t fill in the blanks.(fr ur students, T can pause in sme related infrmatin.Step 9: Check the answers and shw in the blackbard.Step 10: Listen again and the Activity 5.
Step 11: Read the dialgue ne sentence by ne sentence. (T: Pause the tape ne sentence by ne sentence.Step 12: Have a cmpetitin: The Vice f Class One As we all knw a TV prgram called The Vice f China, which is very ppular in 2012 frm Zhejiang TV. Tday, we will use the music and pattern f it t have a cmpetitin, wh will be the vice f Class ne.
1. Every persn read the dialgue in the grup and chse the best vice f yur grup. 2. The grups nearly g tgether and read the dialgue and chse the best student whse can stand fr the vice f yur big grup3. The fur Ss chse frm the grups g t the platfrm and stand in frnt f class. 4. Chse the fur judges.
