2. Reading and underlining
Read the letter and exercises again and underline all the useful expressins r cllcatins in the letter. Cpy them in yur ntebk after class as hmewrk.
3. Listening
Turn yur bks t page 31. We’ll listen t a stry abut a persn wh experienced the 1906 San Francisc earthquake. I’ll play the tape three times. First listen and try t get sme details that Exercises 1 and 2 requests. Secnd listen again and try t finish the exercises. Third listen and check yur answers.

SEATTLE-A pwerful earthquake with a magnitude f 6.8 hit Washingtn State last week. The quake, the biggest in 50 years, caused billins f dllars in damage. But miraculusly, nly ne persn died and mre than 100 peple were injured in the quake.
