T: Last class we have learned the stry abut the Jewish Anne, her family and her diary. The writer expsed the cruel cntrl f the Nazis, while prpsing a sharp questin t the whle sciety, under cntrl f the pwerful Nazis, what attitude n earth did the wide ppressed peple take? Nw I’ll give yu a cuple f minutes t discuss it.

S1: Where there is ppressin, there is resistance. I think she shuldn’t give in the evil pwer f the Nazis. She shuld devte herself t revlutinary struggle, like Liu Hulan. She jined the Chinese Cmmunist Party and died bravely fr the revlutin career.

T: Last time I asked yu t prepare fr the reading task n Page 44 and think abut what different ways f shwing friendship are in Hawaii. Nw read the passage quickly and try t find the three signs f friendship in Hawaii, and then decide what each f the fllwing wrds means in the language f the Hawaiians. Fill the chart at last.

S5: I quite agree with yu. Real friendship is a rare and precius gift, strng, stable, yet fragile, and never t be taken fr granted.
