    IV. Teaching Aids:
    Multimedia, paper, a blackbard and chalk,.
    V. Teaching prcedures
    Step I:Lead in
    T: What day is it tday?
    S: Thursday.
    T: It is the furth Thursday in Nvember. S it is Thanksgiving Day tday.
    Enjy and sing a sng tgether. (The lyrics f the sng include attributive clauses)
    Purpse: T draw students’ attentin by singing the beautiful sng.
    Step II:Explain the usage f relative prnuns and ask students t make sentences.
    By cmbining sentences t discver the usage f relative prnuns
    By making sentences using peple and things arund us t enhance students’ prficiency and accuracy in using the attributive clause.
    Purpse: Enable the students t acquire the usage f relative prnuns and cultivate their cnfidence.
    Step III:Exercises (Cmpetitin between bys and girls)
    Six kinds f exercises: Crrect; Speak and guess; Listen and cunt; Translate; Chse; Make sentences
    Purpse: Thrugh varius exercises t enable students t have a cmmand f what they have learned.
    Step IV:Make a card (Grup wrk)
    Make a card fr the persn wh yu are grateful t n this special day.
    Purpse: Cultivate students’ cperative ability and learn t write using the attributive clause.
    Step V:Fill in the blanks and cnclude the cases where nly “that” can be used.
    Then raise a questin D yu knw the cases where nly “which” can be used.
    Purpse: Enable students t understand “Knwledge is endless” and the necessity f keep n learning.
    StepⅥ: Summary
    Ask students t lk at the blackbard and sum up what they have learned.

    Write a letter t the persn wh yu are grateful t.
    Purpse: Writing is ne f the mst imprtant skills. Thrugh writing, students can have a gd cmmand f relative prnuns and the attributive clause.
