We can see that the verbs are all used in the “-ing” frm. They are “the present cntinuus tense”, but they express future actins r plans. The Present Cntinuus Tense may be used t dente an actin that can be pre-planned r prearranged instead f the future indefinite in cllquial English. But please nte that, nt all verbs can be used in the “-ing” frm t express future actins. Such verbs as cme, g, leave, fly, walk, ride, drive, stay, meet, die, see, have, arrive etc. are mainly used in the “-ing” frm t express future actins.

I. Wrds fr reading

finally: lastly;in cnclusin 最后,终于。强调活动过程的终结“最后”,“末了”。一是在列举事物或论点时引出最后一项内容,二是用在句中动词前面表示“等了很久……”
in the end表示经过许多变化、困难和捉摸不定的情况之后,某事才发生。

It begins at a glacier n a Tibetan muntain which is at an altitude f mre than 5000 meters.
It is small and the water is clean and cld at first. Then it mves quickly and passes thrugh deep valley.
Half f it is in China and it is called Lancang River in China.
As it enters Sutheast Asia , it travels slwly thrugh hills and lw valleys, and the plains where rice grw.
