    As a dance psychlgist and teacher, I have witnessed the ways dancing has changed the lives f hundreds f peple. Then I set up the Dance Psychlgy Lab s that I culd cmbine my knwledge in psychlgy with dance, using science t study the relatinship between mvement and the brain.     Dancing stimulates the link between the bdy and the brain. The emtinal high we get frm dancing is due t dpamine(多巴胺).This brain chemical plays a rle in hw we feel, and lw levels are assciated with feelings f anxiety, hpelessness, pain and md swings. Dancing is a great way t vercme these negative feelings because the exercise and ur emtinal respnses t the music we're hearing can increase the release f dpamine in different parts f the brain. As dpamine levels g up, we can shake ff sme f thse negative feelings and flat int an excited state.
    Scientists suggest that the best time t learn a dance rutine is befre yu g t sleep. This is because the brain builds new knwledge structures while we sleep, and it is these structures that strengthen ur ability t learn and remember infrmatin.
    In ur lab experiments, we fund that peple wh did 20 minutes f imprvised(即兴的)dancing became mre creative when answering creative-thinking tasks.
