I wke up in the harsh, damp weather f the shining Grand Canyn. My ears rang frm the screeching f the grup leader yelling t get up. I gt up as fast as I culd, hping I was ging t d smething fun tday. I heard the apprentice yelling fr peple t get n the bat. As I was still trying t wake up, I smelled the fresh air just like the rses in my aunt’s garden. The grup leader made us all get n the raft and then we immediately left.
When we arrived at ur destinatin, it turned ut that they bth were just playing a trick n us and wanted t surprise us with a beautiful glistening waterfall. We were all very glad as we saw the waterfall. We all wanted t g up t it and walk in it. We were required t climb up big rcks and hike little distances in rder t get t the waterfall, but it was really wrth it.
We left the waterfall and set up a camp near it. My grandma handed me a tent and said, “Yu d it yurself, and I want yu t learn sme things. ”
I tk 30 minutes t set up the tent and tried t make it perfectly symmetrical(对称的). Hwever, when my grandma and I were abut t get in it, it fell ver. We sighed and my grandma walked ver t the ther family’s tent and sat dwn perfectly statinary. S I knew I had t d it ver again, and I tk abut 5 minutes t set up the tent with my previus knwledge. I als added sme sticks t the tp f the tent fr sme decratin. As the tent swayed, I was required t put sme weight n the edges f the tent. S I put tw rcks n each side f the tent. My grandma walked ver and was very impressed. That really inspired me t keep learning new things.
When my grandma and I wke up, there was already breakfast waiting fr us. There was a mixed variety f different fds n the table, such as bacn, beef jerky, eggs and sausages.

What I did caught my grandma’s eye. Putting up the tent by myself in such a shrt time impressed her very much. She was glad that I learned new things in the camping at last.
