T: Tday we will begin a new unit. It’s called My Neighbrhd. Wh can tell me what that means in Chinese?
Ss: My Neighbrhd means 我的社区.
T:Gd wrk. What is a neighburhd?

设计意图:教师通过设计几个学生容易回答的问题导入新课,以调动他们学习的积极性。
环节2
Instruct the students t lk at Li Ming’s map at the bttm f the lessn and discuss the Think Abut It questins.
Ask the students t share their answers with the class.
Discuss the answers as a class.
Play the listening material fr Lessn 19. Play it nce and ask the students just t listen.
Play the auditape a secnd time and ask the students t write dwn what’s in each persn’s neighburhd.
Check the answers as a class.
Explain “ver there” and ask the students fr the Chinese translatin f the phrase. Ask the students hw t say “ver there” withut using wrds.
Instruct the students t rle-play the lessn in pairs.
If time allws, select sme pairs t present their rle-play in frnt f the class.
Students d the Exercise 1 and Exercise 2 independently, then check the answers in grups, and finally as a class.
Finish ff the Prject after class.
