设计意图:通过提问的方式教学,将学生的注意力引入到本课时的相关内容中去,为后面的正式学习进行预热。
环节2 学习2a-2e
1.分组练习。让学生们分组讨论各自了解的机器人的外形和功能等,然后抽选一两位学生当堂描述他们所知道的机器人。
2.阅读2b的短文,标出其中的生词、重点短语和难句,并将课文上方的四个问题与其相应的段落匹配起来。
3.放一遍录音,学生进行逐句跟读,注意语音语调。然后总结每段的段落大意和文章的主旨大意。老师对短文进行详细讲解,并对同学总结的段落大意和主旨大意进行指正。
4.让学生再次快速阅读一遍短文,完成2c的练习,老师核对答案。
5.让学生浏览2d的短文,掌握其大意,并用2b短文中的单词补全短文。老师核对答案,并对其中的重要知识点进行讲解。
6.让学生课后完成2e的练习,并将优秀的短文在下一个课堂上展示。
7.要点点拨。
(1)Today there are already robots working in factories.
①本句包含固定句型:There is/are sb./sth.doing sth.表示“有某人/某物正在做某事”。
②already adv.已经;早已。它多用于肯定句中,用于疑问句中则表示惊讶或意外之意。
(2)For example,scientist James White thinks that robots will never be able to wake up and know where they are.
①be able to do sth.能够做某事,可用于任何时态。
②wake up醒来,叫醒。它是一个动副型短语,名词作其宾语时可放在up之前或之后,代词作其宾语时,只能放在wake与up之间。
