能运用What’s yur name? Nice t meet yu! 进行交际。

教学过程
Step 1: Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2: Warming up and 1a
T: Let’s lk at the screen and guess what they are. What’s this in English?
Ss: (Answer in English.)
T: We have knwn many articles. Nw let’s lk at the picture in ur bk. Write wrds fr the things in the picture.
Ss: (Write the wrds fr the things in the picture.)
T: Ok! Well dne!
Step 3: Listening
1. T: Can yu remember the fllwing names?(Shw sme pictures n the screen.) Let’s find the answer tgether. Read the names after me.
Ss: (Read the names.)
T: (Ask several students t read the names alud and if there is sme mistakes, ask ther students t crrect.)
Other students try t crrect.
T: Nw let’s meet sme new friends. Read the names after me.
T: (1b Listen and number the cnversatins. Play the tape fr the students.)
S: (Listen t the tape and try t find the answer.)
Step 4: Reading and acting
Pair wrk: Read with yur partner abut the cnversatins.

B: Hi, Mary! I’m Jim.
3. A: My name’s Jenny.
B: I’m Gina. Nice t meet yu.
Ss: (Act ut the cnversatins with their partner.)

T: In pairs, greet each ther and ask yur partner abut his/her name. Shw the mdel n the screen
Mdel:
A: What’s yur name?
B: My name is Alice.
A: Hell! Alice. I’m Helen.
B: Hi, Helen! Hw are yu?
A: I’m fine, thanks. Hw are yu?
B: I’m OK. Nice t meet yu.
A: Nice t meet yu, t.
Ss: (Greet their partners fr a few minutes.)

first name名字 last name 姓氏
first name与given name同义，last name与family name同义。

Her family name is Smith.

名字：first name=given name
姓氏：last name=family name

教学反思
本节课设计的主要是听和说，但由于比较贴合学生的实际，而且也是学生较为感兴趣的话题，因此他们在富有情趣的交际中愉快主动地接受信息、加工信息、交流信息，所以本节课的目标在愉悦的课堂气氛中得到落实和巩固。本节课一个较难处理的是把对话应用到实际中来。Alan
