    Functin: intrductin abut smene.
    Listening: Students can understand thers’ greetings by listening.
    Speaking: Students can intrduce themselves/their friends t thers.
    Character building:
    Mtivate students’ interest in learning English. Make friends with all students.
    Teaching steps(教学步骤)
    1.vcabulary study:
    Step 1: Play the recrding and have them pint ut the wrds and phrases in Activity 1.
    Step 2: Play the recrding again and have them read after the tape.
    Step 3: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in PPT.
    Step 4: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in Activity6 and check their answer with their partner.
    2. Dialgue study:
    Step 1: Practice the dialgue with the whle class and have them make crrespnding reacts.
    Step 2: Have students t practise the previus dialgue with their partner.
    3.play a game.
    Invite Ss t practise the dialgues:
    1) S1: Where d yu want t g?
    S2: I want t g t Tianjin.
    2) S3: Where d yu want t g?
    S4: I want t g t Beijing.
    S3: What d yu want t d there?
    S4: I want t visit Tian’anmen Square..
    3) T: Where d yu want t g
    S: I want t g t Dunhuang.
    T: What d yu want t d there?
    S: I want t visit the Mga Caves.
    ...
    4. Presentatin.
    1.Shw a picture with Eric, let Ss guess what Eric wants t say t us.
    The answer is “Canada” r “Yes.!” Then help them t say: “Canada” r “Yes.!”
    2.practise “Where is he/she frm?”
    ...
    Hmewrk:
