    Analysis f key items and difficulties f teaching:
    Functin: Greetings in students’ daily life.
    Listening: Students can understand thers’ greetings by listening.
    Speaking: Students can intrduce themselves and greet with thers.
    Character building:
    Mtivate students’ interest in learning English. Make friends with all students.
    Teaching steps(教学步骤)
    1.vcabulary study:
    Step 1: Play the recrding and have them pint ut the wrds and phrases in Activity 1.
    Step 2: Play the recrding again and have them read after the tape.
    Step 3: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in PPT.
    Step 4: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in Activity6 and check their answer with their partner.
    2. Dialgue study:
    Step 1: Practice the dialgue with the whle class and have them make crrespnding reacts.
    Step 2: Have students t practise the previus dialgue with their partner.
    3.play a game.
    Invite Ss t practise the dialgues:

    S2: I ften d the husewrk.
    S3: What d yu d in yur free time?
    S4:I ften play the guitar.

    4. Presentatin.
    1.Shw a picture with Eric, let Ss guess what Eric wants t say t us.
    The answer is “G fr a picnic.” r “G skating.” Then help them t say: “G fr a picnic.” r “G skating.”
    2.practise “What d yu d yu d in yur free time?
    Hmewrk:
    根据这节课所学句型编写一段对话。
