2学情分析
四年级学生经过一年多的英语学习,大部分学生能用英语进行简单的问候和交流,有较好的倾听、模仿、合作的学习习惯,但还有待进一步培养。他们积累了一定词汇和句型,尤其是本单元前两课已经通过一些具体的情境对生日话题、月份词汇有所感知,使得孩子们对新课的学习有更多联想和新的期待,这为本课的学习打下良好的基础。
3重点难点
重点:1. July, August等十二月份词汇的正确发音和理解。
2.在真实的情境中运用When is yur birthday?/ It’s in…/
My birthday is in…句型。
难点: 1.July,August等十二月份词汇的正确发音和理解。
2. This is a birthday present frm my…理解和运用。

活动1【活动】热身
Step 1 Warming up (1’)
Sing the sng “Happy birthday t yu.”
T: Hell, bys and girls. Tday is my birthday. Can yu sing a sng fr me?
Ps: OK.
T: What sng? Oh, I like it. Happy birthday t yu!
Ps: Sing the sng tgether. (music)
T: Thank yu. Yu are s great.

(设计意图:通过复习本单元第一课所学的1——6月的词汇,过渡到尽量启发学生一起感知7——12月的词汇。7——12月六个词汇是本课的重点又是难点,如果直接将7——12月的词汇呈现并反复教读,学生既觉得吃力又索然无味,因此在情境中陈述加之ppt直观展示学生记忆效率更高.在谈论自己喜欢的月份时,放手让学生自己说。如果学生遇到新单词发音困难,引导学生去描述那个月份明显的天气特征或那个月份包含的特别节日,让其余同学去猜,共同聚焦相应的月份词汇.)

T: Dress. If yu are Lily, What will yu say?
P3: Yur dress is very beautiful.
P4: It’s s nice.
T: Let’s listen t the tape.
Ps: Listen and repeat “Gee, I like yur dress, Tingting!”

(设计意图:这个过程是整堂课的重中之重,带着任务去听、读对话,让学生反复感知全文和重点句型。通过前两堂课的图片唤起孩子们对本单元话题和情境,妈妈送给Tingting裙子作为生日礼物在前一课已经学过,因此我提前用Tingting的口吻呈现了难点句子This is a birthday present frm mum.本课是Tingting和Lily的对话,首先让学生观察图片后去猜测Lily的第一句话,为走进文本做下铺垫。接着给出问题’When is Tingting’s birthday?’让学生带着任务去听, 第一次感知全文,得出答案June后为进一步加深When is…句子的印象,教师马上提问When is Children’s Day?。紧接着孩子们带着When is Lily’s birthday?这个问题跟读课文,因为本文句子较少应提前让学生尝试朗读。同样在此为加深When is…句子的印象,教师提问When is Christmas?这是孩子们第二次感知全文。从Tingting和Lily的生日再到简短的询问个别孩子的生日,呈现重点句型When is yur birthday?/ It’s in…/ My birthday is in…)
活动4【导入】朗读练习及表演

(设计意图:通过两次感知全文,孩子们可尝试角色扮演。首先教师扮演Tingting,学生扮演Lily,示范性的师生练习之后教师可把时间交给学生进行生生练习。学生通过操练、准备表演孩子们渐渐的对本课的目标句型加深印象。小组操练的同时ppt提示孩子们角色扮演的要求,指导孩子们为表演课文做准备,教师此时wallk arund,为有困难的学生提供帮助。表演也是孩子最喜爱、最活跃的环节,又是最容易出现混乱的环节,因此教师可通过适当加减评价栏的礼物引导孩子们注意力集中。)
