Zhu Yan, a Grade 8 student, went t see a dctr last week. What happened t him?
His mum bught a mbile phne fr him t use when he gt int truble. But Zhu used it t send messages t his friends all the time, even after ging t bed. Sn he started t d badly in the exams because he spent t much time playing with the phne. His mum gt very angry with him, but he didn’t care. One day, his arms and fingers began t hurt and he culd nt see very well, s he had t g t hspital. The dctr tld him that he had gt "mbile phne disease".
A grwing number f students are getting "mbile phne disease" because mre and mre teenagers, just like us, are buying mbile phnes. Teachers and dctrs suggest that we shuld try t use mbile phnes less, especially at schl. We shuld try t have fun in ther ways, such as reading and ding sprts.
