1. A weekly round-up of what is happening in sport, with up-to-date information. 一周体育新闻摘要及最新消息。

（1）weekly  形容词，意为“每周一次的, 每周的”，常在名词前作定语。

（3）up-to-date 形容词，意为“最新的；现代的”，与latest同义。

2. There are a number of interviews with famous players.

有许多对著名运动员的采访。

  (1) a number of 意为“大量的，许多的”, 后接可数名词复数，作主语时谓语动词用复数形式，number前面可用large或small等词修饰，表示程度。the number of 意为“……的数量”，后接可数名词复数，作主语时谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。

(2) interview 可作动词或名词，意为“采访”。

The reporter is interviewing the singer.

(1) be covered live 意为“被现场直播”。

unless 连词，意为“除非”, 在句中引导条件状语从句，相当于if...not。如果主句是一般将来时，从句常用一般现在时表示将来。
