They'd never sptted the warbler, but her father had an amazing way f making each uting seem special. Staying with Dad, Ally felt cmfrtable. "If nly I culd get that gd feeling back," she thught, sighing.
Staring at the bird, suddenly, she knew exactly what she had t d. Grabbing the-little flag, she placed her camera arund her neck and hurried utside. Ally stuck the flag amng the flwers in the garden. "Please let me see the warbler," she murmured t herself. She gave her wrried Mm a kiss and then set ff int the wds.

"We can talk when we arrive at the restaurant," her mm said.

"What is it, dear?" her mm asked. She clsed the dr and walked clser t me. Our hands almst tuched. I culd feel her eyes study me, and she watched me quietly. My heart beat faster. I gathered my curage and tld her the whle stry and my wish t fix the vase if pssible.
