1. 放在所修饰词的前面。
She is a pretty ( 漂亮的）girl.He is an ld man.
2. 放在系动词后面（做表语）。
The girl is pretty ( 漂亮的）.The man is ld.Yu lk(看起来) yung.
3. 放在复合不定代词后面。
There is smething wrng with my bike.我的自行车出了点毛病。
There is nthing serius（严重的）.没什么大不了的。
当几个形容词同时修饰一个名词时，应按照正确的顺序排列：品质、大小、颜色、国家、材质。
Eg: a little white wden huse. a handsme Chinese by.
1. 一张黄色的小木桌。

Liu Xiang is tall.
Ya Ming is taller than Liu Xiang.
Ba Xishun is the tallest man in China.

比较级: 用于两者之间的比较，常和than连用。最高级: 用于三者或三者以上的比较，前有定 冠词the，后面常伴有一个表示范围的 短语或从句。
形容词的比较级和最高级：
1.一般+er/est.

2.以不发音e结尾，+r/st.

同级比较：as…as (像……一样)

用来修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或全句的词，表示时间、地点、程度、方式等。
1. 时间副词：nw, then…
2. 地点副词：here, there…
3. 程度副词：t, much…
4. 方式副词：slwly, quickly…
5. 疑问副词：when, where, hw, why…
6. 频率副词：ften, smetimes…

2). 辅+y结尾的形容词，把y变i，+ly。

注意：有些词虽然以ly结尾，却不是副词， 而是形容词。如：friendly, lvely…

修饰动词时， 通常放在动词后面。
2. 修饰形容词时， 通常放在形容词前面。

3. 修饰其他副词时， 通常放在所修饰副词前面。

副词的比较等级与形容词相同
注意：副词的最高级前可加the，也可不加。Eg. He talks (the) least, and des (the) mst in his class.
他在他们班说的最少，做的最多。
形容词、副词比较级前可以用much, a lt, a little, far…修饰。
